‘DANSAUL was formed in 1996 by Dan Plews and Saul Rose, who are joined by Guy Fletcher, Mark Woolley. The band’s roots reach from the local traditions in which they grew up towards contemporary styles with obviously wider influences.

DANSAUL’s live performances are good-humoured, unpredictable, and peppered with anecdotes - add to this the quality of the material, and it is easy to see why they are such a highly regarded act.

Dan Plews sings and plays bouzouki and guitar, with Saul Rose on melodeon, Guy Fletcher on fiddle, Mark Woolley on bodhran, percussion and low whistles - all accomplished musicians and highly regarded performers’.

Dan has toured worldwide on his own and with Kings of Calicutt and Eliza Carthy.  Saul appears with Waterson:Carthy, Faustus, Eliza Carthy, Random, Whapweasel and the Ruth Notman band amongst others.   Guy can be seen with Tickled Pink and Little Johnny England, and Mark is a regular with Full House and Full English Breakfast.
