Striding Edge create vital, uplifting dance music rooted in Lake District tradition.

The band have spent ten years on the road, continuously playing ceilidhs and concerts in England and abroad. Through hard work and personal recommendation by their clients, they have evolved into one of the most popular ceilidh-roots bands from North West England.

Striding Edge were formed in 1995. They are named after the dramatic ridge on Helvellyn, one of The Lake District's 's highest mountains.
